Where do you place your chemipure? I had to put mine in the filter sock. No matter how much I rinse it it is fine like coffee grounds. The skimmer catches a lot of it and I have to clean out the sump often. What are your thoughts on chemipure?

You really don't want it leaking out into your system ideally.I have always bought it in the mesh bag provided because it is fine. What micron is your filter sock/bag??
It does require ALOT of rinsing though to remove the fines.
I used Chemipure and CElite for years. It works.I currently am just using BRS low dust stuff that works quite well.Less rinsing.

Using rodi to rinse the media will keep it from adsorbing impurities from your tap water i.e. it should last a little longer.;)

200 micron sock from BRS. The Chemipure came in it's own bag I put it in a 5 galling bucket and rinsed and rinsed it would never come clear. Once I move it to rinse it again I still get powder.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It's one of may favorite products. I always put it under and overflow or output area in a higher flow area. Yeah I never get mine to rinse completely clear but close enough. If you handle the bag and mix it around will rinsing it tends to just keep releasing dust.

I love it. It has my water the clearest I've ever seen it. Was just wondering if there's a way. Currently having it in the filter sock it's seems to keep the dust down.

Look into chemipure blue. It's amazing stuff. I stopped using regular chemipure due to the high dust. Chemipure blue is really a great product.

I was getting ready to ask if anyone had tried chemipure blue. Other than the low dust have you noticed any other pros to the blue? I've been running elite in a tlf reactor for a while and am happy with it.

It's got different resins in it and so far no dust at all since the carbon is palletized. Almost like a mix of carbon and purigen with another thrown in.
