Sweet, although, if you keep adding, your love of zoanthids may throw your love of minimalist aquascaping out the window :)

    Thank you Mr. Bill. :)

I can not decide if my corals are getting enough nutrition from lighting alone. A thin sand bed might help in that department and I am just not sure if I absolutely love the BB (but I did initially) or if sand might enhance the look of the tank.

I have tried feeding more but I have 2 fish and no hermits or anything else so I do not want to pollute the tank with fish food, phos wise.

My Stylophora bleached so I have moved it way down. Lesson learned AGAIN.....

Ducan, I have had this piece for about 2 years.

Wow, that LA Acro does look really nice, especially so soon.

By definition, that would be LED's. :p

I have been doing some serious searching Jerry and research.

I read one thread that says and shows that Radion makes their corals grow and the coloration is fantastic as evidence by the images. Another thread and a Radion person is going back to MH.

I might also go with a 4 bulb fixture T5 first, 24 inch.

    I am so confused!!!!!!!!

I'll tell you something about LED's, they are misunderstood, and underestimated. I believe that it is a more difficult switch to go from T-5 or MH to LED, than T-5 to MH or visa versa. What the corals see is more than the PAR meter tells. You've seen yourself how many people are bleaching their corals with LED's, especially Radion's and other high powered fixtures. It's no longer a question of will LED's work, it's how you get them to work for you.

I've been going with less light with the LED's and getting better results.

    John/2in10 hmmmm.

That is a trend I have noticed everyone dimming to 60% or lower initially and staying there.
There are sure some stunning Nanos that use them with stunning corals

yeah cheryl, your desire seems perfect for leds, my rapid is at 80/50% and prob too high, my toadstool only comes out a few hours a day, and my reefbreeders is prob at 70/40 and prob too high for a few corals. I'd say the $200 cost of the reefbreeders is hard to pass up, the radions are great, but honestly, I don't see the need to pay that much for leds anymore unless you really have the spare cash and desire for a true show tank with controllability for storms, etc.
