It's good to see your tank on a roll, Cheryl. Keep the updates coming! ;D

    :) Hey Jerry.

A roll is exactly what it feels like and it also feels like it could turn on a dime. I am being so precise on my dosing and testing, like never before, frankly it makes me a little nervous. What is your dosing system please?

My clown, fully recovered from her bristleworm battle. Hunter if you're out there you were right AGAIN.;)

You can see the green base to the RP. One of my favorite things about Red Planets.

    Thanks Chris.

Yeah cameras and corals can become an addiction. You can always change it up, angle, light, focus... it's a sickness I tell you. :-/

Hey, Cheryl. I've been using BRS since I started two part, but switched to recipe 2 with the recommendation of other 3Reefers. I consider 9 alk and 420 calcium the lowest numbers I want to see. When I reach that point, I increase the dose on both. Currently dosing slightly more than 200ml/day in a 125. Remember, that would be about 100ml of recipe 1. Mag I like over 1,500. Still only one wc in a year and a half. I'd do one if I saw a reason, not just being stubborn. :p Also switched from vodka to vinegar, thanks to Steve W. Almost forgot, approximately one drop of Lugol's per day.

Ahh Lugol's have not used that stuff in years but always thought as far as Iodine goes it's the best by far and the right type. I have seen some absolutely stunning mushroom and zonathid tanks that Lugol's was responsible for.

No skimmer no organic carbon!!! I like the vinegar idea though and like I posted earlier I am thinking of getting another skimmer now that they have some really nice HOB models for AIO tanks.

Currently I am sitting at Ca 350 and Alk of 9-10, just need to fine tune it and move up the Ca a little. Dosing manually twice a day the alk and measuring twice a day for a week or so until I get it stable.

What dosing pumps are you using?

    Thank you. :)

You started sps so you're on your way. In a 2 year old system you have a good chance of making it succeed.

LOL I wanted a shot of the clown at the top. She never ever cooperates, so I teased her to the top over the corals by putting the tip of my finger in the tank, of course she went into attack mode. ::)
