Are those shots taking through the glass or from the top?
If later, just a few inches above water with pumps off?
    What cam/lens is it?

Yes I am, I took these this am.

    Pumps are indeed off.
Only one shot the brown coral is through the class. ISO is turned up, flash is off and macro lens on. It's a Cannon, I will have to look at the model number when I get home.

Practice makes perfect with even a decent point a shoot today. You take 40 and get one good one.

Not getting the light fixture reflecting back at you can be tricky though.

Just manual dosing, Ca in the morning, alk at night. At some point I'll get pumps for the Reef Angel.

Added return pump flow, in-tank circulation, and Phosguard were the cure for algae issues. Since the bubble algae outbreak, the DT is nearly algae free. No way could it be removed manually, it had to be addressed at the base cause. I've had to learn more about algae than the corals, lol.

Have you considered a controller for your tank? For me, it was a higher level of staying "in-touch" with the system, and keeping it even more stable.

No Jerry a controller has not even crossed by mind, I will have to consider that a serious option.

At least my tank is small, it's a curse and a positive all at the same time. Decreased amount solution to be used, increased potential for error, 5 ml error can cost me big time.

I think you should be okay, just keep a close eye on your params for a while to see if anything spikes.

I started out @ 18.7ml per day and now 22ml per day to keep everything stable.

Chris is a wise man. ;)

Are you getting frags in return from him or something?
    Is he holding you hostage?
Do we need to send in a SWAT team?

Two smiley faces for yes. :)
