Well let me check those out, please do not let them be as much as Evo's. I have to change out the pumps in the back chambers they are over 4 years old.

Appreciate the tip I will go check this one out as well.

Are you guys using an particular vendor?

I also have a Sicce 2.0 running my take too. Love the pump, very quiet and tons of power.

I used Sicce Voyger 4s on my 125 before my mp40s and they were decent. They are going on my new build. That being said I LOVE vortechs

Only ever used BRS High Grade GFO. I haven't ran it in years though, but I think the ecobak is working well.

    Well I never.

Ok well both can be found at MarineDepot good.

Innovative Marine Spin Stream - Return Nozzle, this is very interesting Chris, I kind of like it.

Ryan I will have to get rid of the #4 because it will not run on a waver maker.

So Jerry were does the Sicce sit in your tank?

Cheryl, just keep in mind that the body of the 550 is almost twice as big as the 450. I would get 3 450s and see how you like the flow. They will take up a lot less space and be less of an eye sore!

To get random flow without the use of a wavemaker you have to bounce it off the walls, no direct flow.

I need more flow in the bottom of the tank.

Also since I am changing out the pumps in the back that would be a good time to add the Innovative Marine Spin Stream - Return Nozzle.

I started with Koralias but they were a pretty "focused" or "narrow" flow. I switched to the JBJ Oceanstream and really like them. They still move a lot of water, but it's a gentler and wider flow path.

I have them tied to the Ocean Pulse Wavemaker and it's been bullet proof for over 6 months. No clicking at all when they switch. I have them switching every 30 seconds.

    Good luck with your selection.

Both Sicce's are on the back wall of the tank, one in the upper left and the other in the upper right pointing towards the front center, slightly upward on short 4-6 second bursts, like Ryan suggested. (Evo's can't be positioned this way) This creates a lot of surface flow and turbulence. There are also two Evo 1050's on opposing top sides facing each other, constantly on.
