Glad I posted the question. Personal experience means a lot to me in decision making.

I do not have to use the wavemaker but if I decide to try it again I would like it to work right.

    :); +1

I should have read through the whole thread.

I have 4 x 1,600 gph for my 150 corner hex, but only two are running at a time. I have two sets of 2 on the wavemakers. Gives me a nice random flow.

Cheryl, my experience with Koralias is that they do not put much of a flow i have one set in the back and when i put my hand in front of it i cannot feel my hand pushing back. on the other hand i have a tunze 9045 and that little thing is a beast, and it also can adjust the GPH. but with a vortech you will have all your flow issues solved! so less powerheads and just 1 vortech is all you will need !

Forgot what the great thing about Zoanthid and Palys is, they grow fast. Acropora slower than slow, Zoanthids and Palys you can see the difference in a weeks time.

This nice little blue was a one polyp freebe I got from Colin at aquascapers. One months time it's grown to 4.

Next from Aquascapers that has grown a ton as well is some purple.

Trying to get the longest tentacles on these. They are in good strong flow but not seeing the results I would really like, but I do like them very much.

These are a tiny variety of zoanthids that I got from Happy Coral. I love the pink and orange.

Very nice Corailline. Being blinded by the SPS you squeezed some zoas in the scheme of things.

Yeah for sure I would almost be tempted to try one of their photosynthetic Gorgonian.

Thank you ReefBruh. Two things I always go back to Zoanthids (even after I swear I would not) and sps.

They do not have a high profile so only horizontal competition for real estate also you do not have to target feed them. Add a lot of color and tons of variety. These traits make them perfect for me and sps.
