    Hey Cheryl!

I was just getting caught up on your thread here. I was reading you and barbianj's convo about dosing.. Personally I don't dose any and I've always thought it wasn't necessary in smaller tanks with regular water changes, but lately I've been looking for ways to really get my tank dialed in. I REALLY need to get a calcium test kit simply to see where it stands, I haven't tested anything in over a year haha. Have you really noticed a difference from dosing though? Aside from parameter figures I mean. If there was ever a point where you didn't dose lol..

Thank you very much for the kind words. :)

    Thanks John.

Thanks norg you for taking a look. :)

I was in the same routine as you are.

My coralline algae died off and some corals started so STN. I was testing but not routinely.
Well I started testing routinely with a RedSeaPro kit, I was shocked at how out of wack everything was. You have a larger tank so that helps considerably.
I test daily now, just for now. I dose buffer twice a day, early am, late pm and Ca in the middle of the day and mag maybe every week and half.
Big difference in growth, coloration, healthy over all.
In the past I have used Kent A/B, now I use 2fishies parts A/B, both products are excellent IMO. Next I will move to BRS dosing system.
    It does make a difference.

    Hi Shin,

I do expect it to color up a little more. Honestly though I like the white or yellow colors just as much it adds contrast.
