    Hi Mr.Bill,

Not that I know of, BUT it seems like many inverts can become opportunistic eaters. I have some limpets but not the coral eater type and they do not hang out in the area the zoanthids are on. I have a very small pod population, and amphipods tend to chew on them not eat the entire head out right. The head or polyp was just gone, the stem still present.

I will have to keep an eye out at night for awhile.

About a year ago I had a very large population of Stomatella, some of my sps frags got munched right at the base, eaten, the only common denominator was the presence of Stomatella at the base when the lights came on.

Disclaimer: I am not saying to be worried about Stomatella eating corals, but at this point they can not be ruled out. Tiny tank with few introductions for years and I am neurotic about looking for pest in my tank. Seems like I would have noticed a true pest by now.

    wew long answer.

But a good thorough one. :)

You are correct- I've torn more tanks apart than I care to remember, chasing down quite a variety of rogues that were sold as "reef safe". :-/

Well technically all the animals are " reef safe".Just maybe not tank safe.;)
My friend Brian always says beware of crabs and the snails may not be trustworthy either.;D

    Yeah Shin,

I do like the coral. I have a lot of red and pinks already. It's the blues and yellows that seem hard for me to keep. Like the grass is always green so are the zeovite tanks. I would like more pastels in other words. Hence the reason I am looking forward to what you do in that direction.

Do you know you anything about these zeovite rocks I am seeing on the forums?

Sorry to hear Cheryl. I would look at your Aterina stars if you have any. I have found them munching on my zoas. Great color change.

    Thanks John,

I have not seen an Asterina in years in my tank.

Last night I got the flash light out and I was amazed at the number of Limpets and Collinista (probably a hundred Collinista). Tonight I will have to look several times and for a few nights afterwards.
