What do you target for alk and pH with this tank? I know you're using kalk in the ATO, but do you target an alk, a pH, or a fixed kalk addition?

Trying to find the secret recipe to that massive PE. ;)

For Alk 9 and Ca 450. Unfortunately I always run low on the Ca about 350-400 and high on the alk around 10.8. Dosing amounts change from day do day, I have not been able to simply rely on delivery a specific amount and then getting a specific value.

    Thanks for the info.

Interestingly enough, I have the exact opposite so far. I have to dose bicarbonate daily, but my calcium number barely changes.

Tank is hot. Running around 84 F despite AC at 78 and fans running on the tank.Chiller bit the dust last fall. Sooooo, having a few issues, mostly the Green Millepora. All others are doing fine with slow growth, must be the heat. Alk utilization has dropped big time.

Red Planet still cruising along. I can not get a decent image of the entire colony.

John (2in10) was right these palys grow like a VERY invasive weed, but just like GSP I really like them. It will come back to bite me in the end no doubt. Oh and the clown says Hi.

Joe The Coral is just now starting to turn a green blue. I think the temp of the tank is affecting growth of everything. Dang temperamental tanks!!!!! The Joe is right over the Palys and the baby Millepora is the prominent frag in the middle of the image.

Oh yeah no FTS. As always thank you for viewing. :)
