I've been very lucky with acro crabs. Only had one bad one out of about 5 total. I really like them if they aren't eating the polyps. They always got a lot of comments from people looking at the tank.

That one looks just like one I had that never gave me any trouble.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

    Thanks ReefBruh :)

I have been looking around for an ID since I got it home. Something on DD looks familiar. I swear Millepora and Prostrata are dime a dozen but I can never get lucky enough to get a piece.

Hey grim, got any idea of the type of acropora I might have.

    Hi norg,

Thanks, it's different than my usual pile of rocks lol.

You're an acropora guy too, any ideas on ID?

Maybe tomorrow when the lights are on I will see more PE.

After looking at Vivd it does look like a Mille or a Prostrata.

I would say most definitely maricultured now that you guys have pointed that out.

Definitely not a millepora or prostrata but a great looking piece. Hope it colors up well. Check FS and DD to get a better idea of its species.

    Thanks Ryan.:)

No more expensive then Sea horses. ;)

I looked over DD and Acropora spathulata is the closest I can come if not the two previously mentioned types.

In the LFS it never showed much PE but that is the norm there secondary to the conditions. 4 feed away from old T5, crummy flow and water quality so I was not surprised on the color.

Corallite structure this am, looks like it's trying. All other corals are showing good PE so it's just this piece.

Thanks to all assisting with ID.
