I want to get at least a Royal Blue Tang, and maybe either a Chevron or Sailfin Tang. I also am considering the Purple and Helfrichi (pink) dartfishes, but somehow need to figure out how to get them established at the same time but thats waaaaaaayyy out because Helfichis are expensive T^T

So, I hate to be that guy, but all 3 of the Tangs you picked should ideally be in a 8' long tank if you plan to keep them into adulthood. Otherwise at least a 2' wide tank should be minimum (so a 180 gallon) IMO. I know plenty keep Blue Hippo Tangs in 125's, just not something I would personally do. I would look into those that stay 9" long or less. Ultimate choice is up to you, just trying to give you my thoughts before it is too late.

That's fine ^^ no worries at all! All I know is that so far a tang is in the works, because my boyfriend just loves the whimsical way the swim! As far as depth, my tank is 4x2x2? So it is 2ft wide? Anyway, like I said still in debate since still very early stages for me :)

It seems you're on your way and love the Firefish! Just make sure the top of tank is covered because they like to do stage dives from tank to dry ground.

I learned the hard way! LoL

Sorry, I meant 6' long and 2' wide. Better you plan ahead now anyways :)

So far he just kinda looks out from his section of rocks, swims around, and then back into his little house. Even the BGs havent made the attempt. They may just be devious little buggers and are waiting for an opportune moment, who knows .-.

Yeah, if I do get a tang it's going to be about the size of a half dollar. (god I sound old saying half dollar x.x) that way it gives me a sliver of leeway to get the next set up going. But the tang will probably be my last addition.
