Can someone help me with a decision? I have a 200L Marine setup with LR 4 x chomis, pair maroon clowns, copperband, royal dottyback, blue-eyed? tang, blue tang & a cleaner wrasse + 1 anenome for the clowns.
    I am deliberating between the Hailea - 250A 1/6HP & the 300 1/4HP Chillers, pricing is $412 & $540 delivered to my location.
The question is will the 250 do the job or am i better off going for the 1/4HP?
    Tks :)

running costs will be lower with the 1/4 HP chiller, it will remove heat molecules quicker and thus operate less of the time

the other factor to take into the equation is ambient temperature, if your using the chiller in a moderate climate and mainly compensating for the tanks other electrical equipement, lights and pumps, then under those conditions the 1/6 would probably be efficient enough for you
but if your fighting a hot climate problem, where your tank could reach the 90s even with all other electrics turned off, then I would choose the 1/4 HP model

Is this a 200 gallon long tank were talking about, or a 200 liter tank thats 44 gallons?

yozreef is a aussie like me so we speak in litres;) I am also curios as we just purchased a RSMax 250, set it up in a well ventilated large room, room temp always 22 degrees and its running at 30 degrees constant without heater or lighting on....not sure what to do. the LFS said I need a cooler, but RSea Max site suggests we dont need a cooler if well positioned. Still experimenting...
