I'll keep it in mind. Iv been using fans and I want to get away from that. They work great until my apartment hits 75+

So should I go with the AquaEuro chiller?

Would the smallest one be ideal for my application?

A 1/13 hp would be fine unless you're trying to pull the tank down very far below room ambient. However, a larger chiller (a 1/10 hp, for instance) will run less frequently...less power, less wear and tear on the chiller.

That being said, I've abused one of our chillers in the past (used it on too large of a tank), and it's still working well.

Awesome, looks like I'll be placing my order tonight and enjoy the windows open this summer.

    Thanks

Quick update, I LOVE my chiller. This thing has been very helpful all summer long, my apartment has reached 85F with the windows closed. My tank stays at a cool 78F, also my evap had lowered significantly. I went from 2.5 gallons per week to 2.5 gallons every 2 1/2 weeks.

Lastly my electric bill has lowered by 65%! I always had to keep my apartment at 72F 24/7, my average cooling cost was between $175-210. Last month my bill was $54 and this month it bumped to $86.

If anyone on here has a nano, this will be by far the BEST investment I have made for my tank.

On the very hot days the chiller over reacts and keeps the tank around 76F, not a big deal but it does run more often.

    Glad you like the chiller!

That's exactly the point I make when peeps ask about chillers...sure, there are ways to cool tanks down, and I've used them all at one time or another, but the peace of mind and simplicity of a adding chiller is hard to beat.

The savings alone have fully paid off this chilling, I have passed breaking even and now saving some serious $.

Greg, you're right. There are many other ways to cool you're tank but this is the best solution. I tried the whole fan thing but the evap became annoying.
