The weather is warming up in Maryland and I am going to have to add a chiller. I am looking at an Oceanic or JBJ Arctica. Does anyone have any experience with these chillers or any other brands?

sorry no experience with them . . . but a bump for those that do!!!

(just planting a little devil in your head but have you considered LED's to avoid even having to get the chiller in the first place?)

Right now I have an all in one system and changing out the lights would be too much trouble. Eventually, I will probably put a new set up together and LED's are definitely an option.

I did have a JBJ when i purchased my tank setup. Didnt use it and ended up selling it. It was the 1/5 hp model. I did test it though, and I can assure you that it's very quiet, so much that it really suprised me. I would say that the fans on a light fixture would easily drown out the chiller. Cooled very quickly too.
