Chiller wont go below 76.9

    Current 1/3 hp dual stage chiller put a coral life digital in the return line to check chiller water temp entering the sump came out at 76.9 the website says the chillers can go as low as 60 not that I want it there but that seems to warm for the water to come out takes for ever to bring my tank to 80 when all lights are on this flex of temp is getting bad why wont my chiller CHILL THE WATER TO 77 78? Is the water coming out supposed to be warm?? 76.9 or colder?? Freon out? HELP

    my guess is one of three things:

    water is passing over the chiller coils to quickly

    or

    you may need to cleaned

    or

    you need to have the chiller serviced (nake sure freon levels are right and pressure is good

    how do I clean the chiller thres no dust in it? who do I contact that will check it for freon? I tried slowing the water down speeding it up I tried all water flows.

    How big is your tank? Is the chiller underpowered for the size of the tank?

    The tank is 180 gallon the chiller is a third or half horse but that should not matter as the water coming out the chiller is not coming out cold that is the issue here.
