Today I made last addition to my 125 reef tank. Kole < Yellow Eye> Tang. Its been only 4 hours but my Chocolate Tang won't let him even come out. Fights him all the time. Any chance he will give up? Other then them I have also Hippo but his ok. Don't know what to do, they should not fight together... Let my know, please. Thanks.

for what its worth, my yellow tang proved to be a bully with new additions but in the end (after a good half week) he accepted the new comers. hope it works out for you and your animals

Is he actually biting and taking chunks from your kole tang or is it just chasing him and shaking his back fin at him? If he's biting then remove one of them right away. My yellow tang is a bully but he never bites and after a few days all is fine.

I don't see him biting more like touching;) and pretending.... its been 6 hours and i think it is getting better. At least he let him come out and swim on one side of the tank..

If you notice pieces of fin missing or gouges then you have a problem. Sounds like your tang is just asserting his dominance, it should get better in a few days. I would shut the lights off early so everyone chills out.

+1............. Failing that pop the chocolate out for a couple of days and then put him back with the lights off, I have started introducing all my new fish in as dark as I can get the room, I leave them for a couple of hours and then open the blinds, but I keep light off for the whole day, until my next scheduled sunrise.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Try tapping a small mirror to the side of the tank. It might distract the dominate established tang long enough for the new one to acclimate.
