I'm done with that ASM G3, it's going back!!!! Just looking for a little feedback on an AquaC EV180 or a Precision Marine Bullet-2. Leaning more towards the AquaC. Any opinions are greatly welcome!!!!

I have the aquac ev120 , and I really like it. It is quite, easy to maintain, and I dump it right into my fuge, no microbubbles ;) ;D

Like I said in my newly posted review...the riser tube is a bit difficult to clean, there is a small lip around the top edge that wants to hang on to the crud a little bit (like a 1-2mm edge) but it is not really too bad in that respect. That is the only negative comment I have! ;D

    vamp75,
You only gave the G3 a week to break in. I suspect any skimmer that you purchase will have some microbubble issues for at least a few weeks.

Microbubbles, Yes. 2 days ago I came home from work and my ENTIRE tank was covered in 1/4" bubbles. That's a little rediculous don't you think?

I can see how it might be frustrating, but every skimmer is going to have a breakin period and during that period you are going to get microbubbles. Just trying to be logical, I'm not mocking your decision to go with another skimmer.

Trust me I've been doing the logical. From mods to, bioballs, filter pads, micron bags and even a pair of black nylons over the main returns in my tank. Anything I can think of to break them up. I'm waiting to next week Wednesday. That will be 2-1/2 weeks and if things haven't changed I'm done.
