    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Some corals will show little to no vertical growth until the base or plug is completed encrusted.

    Oh. Geez, i will be there this saturday and see if any of #2 has encrusted. If is has, i will take that one. If it hasent, i will take the encrusted one or #1.

    Just FYI, my Red Planet has been encrusting out on the base while growing up top as well.

    I'd say that a red planet with a lot of growth tips and that shows tabling would be the one to buy. Red Planet doesn't need to base out before it grows vertical. I think the frag that shows the greatest potential without seeing pictures is the second one....the frag you want encrusting the whole plug is a Pink Lemonade, and even that one can just be mounted on it's side, and encrust super fast.
