Impressive. I remember when they were all sickly and didn't look good at all. Now they look great!

That's a really nice tank. The tang is wild looking.

Yeah they have definitely come a long way in a short period of time thats for sure! They still have a ways to go before I would say they are fully healthy but they seem to be getting closer almost daily :)

Thank you. Yeah the tang is pretty sweet, I have had it for about 3 years now and its always had a bit of white on its belly/ face areas like that. Not to sure why or what causes it but I like that you don't see others like it very often.

I decided to begin running a bacteria product in my system again. I ran MB7 in my 180 for a while with somewhat mixed results. So I decided this go around I would try Microbe-Lift Special Blend after hearing good things about it. As bad as this stuff stinks it better work lol. I will continue to dose Vinegar and Vodka as well.

    Today's quick phone FTS:

It will provide a balanced bacterial system within my tank, which will assist my carbon dosing (vodka and vinegar for now) in allowing me to feed like crazy while maintaining a low nutrient system.

Basically the carbon dosing feeds certain strains of bacteria, and each carbon source feeds different bacteria which can knock things out of whack so to speak (like create cyano..) so by dosing a bacterial system it kind of helps to keep it all balanced a little more.

Well I talked to my friend that I have been holding the corals for a little bit ago.... He told me he plans to shut his tank down for a while until he can afford to build a new bigger stand, get a better + bigger skimmer and sump and decide what he wants to do with his lights so I can either keep the corals or sell them and give him half of whatever I get for them. He plans to get back in tho as he loves the hobby just made some initial mistakes and plans to get it all figured out and learn some more before easing back into it. I will probably just hold onto them until he figures out what he is going to do for sure incase he decides to get back in and wants them back (like I originally planned to do anyway). :)

Also, he offered me a seriously amazing deal on his 3 wrasses (1 ornate leopard male, and a hooded pair) that I am considering. The downside is I had some plans to get quite a few new higher end corals this upcoming weekend so I am debating on if I want to risk not being able to do that to get some new fish. The leopard I will likely get regardless but not 100% on the hooded pair.... OOOh which addiction should I feed, wrasses or acros?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
