Glad that everything is starting to work out. That's cool that you decided that you should move it around and it worked out for the best. Seems like in a few days or so the orig pump will quiet down even more. So with the pump moving water better since you moved it. Are you still thinking that you want to get another one so you have 2?

I am hoping the original quiets down a little more, but the replacement seems to have increased its whining noise over the last few days.

With the increase in flow from the change in placement I do think for quite sometime I will be ok with just the 1 mp40. Long term when all the acros grow out alot more I will likely benefit from adding a 2nd or atleast an mp10, but I don't anticipate a need for it anytime soon as my frags are all quite small..... but by the time I am ready for one I have no doubt I will atleast be able to sell off some frags to cover it atleast ;)

I got tired of the whining so I took the replacement off the tank today and packaged it up to ship back to ecotech. It was continuing to actually get worse.

For whatever reason I placed the TBG Solar Flare with most of the branches facing towards the back (which because of its placement on the rock points them more towards the light so I guess it kinda makes sense thinking about it now....), but here is a few pics that does 0 justice and don't capture the orange tips at all:

And a horrible top down next to my Tyree Pink Lemonade that again does neither piece any justice :(

She might not look like much right now, but this little gem is a piece of ReefRaft Poison Ivy (if you don't know what it is, look it up, you will be glad you did ;)):

Now for the new Deepwaters, up first is a little blue tipped beauty (well not in my pics, but in person its quite nice :))

And the yellow tip, that is so brightly yellow tipped there is no possibility of capturing it with my skills:

That piece is a no B.S. true yellow tip, not your normal oh yeah its yellow.... nah its really greenish/yellowy. This is the real deal true yellow.... and a deepwater. I REALLY can't wait for it to grow out :)

I've had this one for a while now, but it is very nice and growing great. I picked it up as a WWC Jaquelineae:

Everything looks great! Like all the shots and explanation of the individual corals. Can't wait to see them all grow out. They look great. I really like your leopard wrasse.
    Looking good Chris.
    Thanks for the updated shots.

A couple of my local friends were asking about a few of the pieces so I explained them a little more then I normally would.... eventually I will go through and document all the named pieces a little better hopefully, but as there are quite a few and they are all smaller it is harder to do so and capture much worth noting specifics for.

I definitely look forward to watching them all grow out as well. Right now there are around 40 different acros in my system so there will be alot to watch. Hopefully soon I will be able to add a couple more :)

Thanks, the leopards are definitely my favorites! Still considering adding a few more, but will probably hold off for a while, let things settle in and make sure everything stays good and stable as the ones I am considering are higher end $$$ types.

Also, today I found my yellow fin flasher laying dead on the sandbed. Not to sure what happened but it hasn't been very active especially lately and would miss meals. It got some ripped/nipped fins not long after I got it but I think someone may have been bullying it that I didn't notice. :(

Nothing new added yet since the hellboy and TBG Solar Flare a few weeks ago. I do plan to add the new TBG Euphoria as soon as it is ready to go tho. Andy has definitely been coming out with some great stuff lately!!!

Other then that, not much going on, just wanted to put an updated FTS up.

Sorry about you yellow fin. Suck loosing fish no matter how long you have them.

The tank looks great Chris. Really clean.

What is all the way in the top right? Is that where you used to have your maxijet?

The top right is a magnetic rock from Alternative Reef. Not sure what I will put there or if I will move it to the back wall where it will get more light but yeah I was using it to mask the maxi-jets a bit originally. I like where it is, but the lower light isn't to allowing for light loving acros which is the main focus of the tank.... time will tell I guess. Could just become a nice little secluded acan/lps area, although the lack of nutrients may play into their demise (no matter where I put them) as well lol
