Well I just got home from the LFS with Live Rock and Live Sand, and set up my Christmas Present. I asked for a JBJ Picotope, and Santa came through!!

I will keep the Pico updated with pics..Will be boring for a little while while it cycles. I am using the water from the big tank. I have googled alot of Pico Pics and some are very beautiful. I hope mine turns out as nice. Any input would be appreciated.

what are you going to keep in there Robman?
are you buying new, or are you going to frag from the reef?

Have not really decided yet...probably a little of both. I am limited to mostly softies with this lighting. I probably will not upgrade lights. I want to keep this one really simple. I know I want a Yellow watchman and some inverts. Not really sure about fish yet. I have awhile to think about it while it cycles. About the only things I might add are a heater and a small powerhead. I am open to suggestions.;D

    sounds good to me Robman
I have a 5 gallon tank spare at home with one of them clamp on CFL lamps
Im considering setting it up purely for Zoanthid frags, with 1 centre piece branching coral like a Kenya tree or a Nepthea species
my idea is to try and get as many different colours of Zoanthids in there as I can find so it looks like an underwater floral garden

Awesome--I kinda had that in mind too. There is a place in Dallas that has an awesome selection of them. Kinda far for me to drive though. Maybe 2010 will be the year of the Pico on 3reef!!! Yamaharider fired off his tonite!!
