great tank so far! i'm starting a lil nano myself (santa also came thru for me this year lol )and i just wanna suggest the tunze mini as a powerhead incase this one dies. wont die on you and much flatter body then the one in there. Just thought I'd mention it. I read it on a nano forum, its like the smallest powerhead or some such thing :)

anyway i'll keep up with this and steal your awesome ideas as they happen! :) ....did i say steal ....i meant gratefully borrow

    Apologies for never replying haha

The cost wouldn't be too bad, but with it being glass I'd be afraid of it breaking, and none of the equipment would plug into our mains without a converter. I'm hoping at some point they'll release them in the UK.

Yours is looking like it's going to be really nice!

Don't take this wrong, and I appreciate the suggestion, but I think I am going to keep the original light, and keep this tank simple. I have seen the coralife upgrade light, and IMO it looks bigger than I like. I am sure it makes a difference in coral growth and what you can keep, but simple is the key here. I would like to know...Do Yellow Watchman Gobies jump?? I was thinking one of those or a bi-color blenny. TIA

I wouldnt do any fish in a tank this size personally. Just seems like prison cell to me. Maybe a yellow clown goby, only because they are relatively stationary and are very very small fish. They look pretty cool too. So if you really need a fish, that is what I would recommend. Yellow watchman gobys get too big and can jump. So I wouldnt go with one. Mine got pretty mean too.

Well I just got back from LFS and this is what I chose.
I took Norgs advice and got a Yellow Clown Goby. I also got a Peppermint Shrimp. That will be all in this tank. I am going to do weekly partials due to the 2 fish. I will just use water from the 150. I really like the Clown Goby so far. Lots of personality. I hope he acclimates and survives. I also added 2 of my smaller snails from the 150. They are my CUC for now. We will see how they do and adj later. Here are some pics.

Well already lost the Peppermint Shrimp, He did not acclimate well at all. I dripped him for an hour and a half. Maybe the salt change was too much. 1.019 to 1.025
