Well Steve I have had a few setbacks..Seems I cant keep a fish alive in this Pico. I have lost 3 chromis, a peppermint shrimp, and I had a nice Clown Goby jump. I am taking a break on the fish for now. I just added a frag from a cabbage coral tonite, that I grew in my 150. I will see how it goes with that. I put 3 snails in there from the 150, and all of them are doing great. I still feed the tank a very tiny amount of frozen to keep the bacteria going. All of the fish came from the same store. (one I dont usually buy from, so I will try my regular). I forget about the bubbles trapped in the new sand bed. I stirred it up tonite and released as many as I could get out. Don't know if that played a role or not, but I remember something about that when i started the other one. I have a little hair on the rocks, and full blown Diatoms right now. I have tested the water several times, and all readings are ok. I am using water from the main tank. I dont give up easy, and have learned alot over the past year and a half with the big tank. Sometimes things just have to run their course. I am still excited about it, just backing off a little and letting Mother Nature do her thing. I will update soon with pics. Thanks for asking!!!;D

sorry to hear about your problems
taking a back step and leaving it alone for a while is a good call IMO
they are funny creatures aquariums IME , you can set X amount up in the same way with 0 issues and then 1 time, everything that can go wrong does go wrong, and makes you question everything you thought you knew about the hobby

I've been keeping track of your pico from the start, and I have to say I keep checking back for some updates.. But its been awhile now and still no updates! Whats up with the tank man? Any new adds? Pics? haha
