Christmas Tree Coral

what is everyone take on a Christmas Tree Coral. good , bad, nice to have or to much trouble

 

i read that they are very hard to take care of and almost always die but i could be wrong

Thank reef i read it. i trust Dr foster , but i trust my reefs more. am looking more for a personal experience with it. i know out of everyone here someone must have had/have one before

 

They need to be secured very well because they need very good flow. Care should be taken when handling them......it you grab them too hard a Calcium carbonate spicule can puncture your skin very easily.

They are azooxanthellate so make sure you understand the feeding needs.
