Chromis fighting each other?

    Chromis are interesting. They are related to damsels and they have the same aggressiveness.....they just aren't strong like damsels.

    wow! that sucks! the tail whiping and mouth locking seem to be only once in a while, other wise they all are getting along very well, and somtimes i notice my clowns like to school with them as well

    i hope im a success story, they really havent fought that bad from what ive noticed so far and their almost always swimming in eather a group of 3 or 2 or all 5 together

    Yes they are....but are great schooling fish.

    and very active :D i love that i have fish who are actually swimming and giving movement in my tank, my clowns swam the entire tank but were very slow and kind of boring, my firefish just swam in one corner all day and was constantly being bullied and now since the addition of the chromis my firefish is actually swimming throughout the tank, and not being bullied by the clowns, and havent noticed any bullying from the clowns to the chromis.

    guess they are peacemakers

    I have read that shyer fish sometimes need active swimmers in the tank to feel comfortable and come out. Glad it worked for you!!

    thanks, and i think your right, someone also mentioned that their used for dither fish, guess you guys are right :D

    hahaha and thanks, i was hoping to find a good pic of all 5 of them but there was only one decent one of 3 of them schooling
