Chromis is getting annoying with building nests!

    At least thats what I think he/she is doing. It keeps waving its tail in the sand clearing area, then picking up larger pieces with its mouth and moving out to create holes in the sand bed. Prob being, its gonna knock rock work over and it covers up corals/clams doing this. Any thoughts on ending this annoying habit?

    Staking out territory as near as I can tell.

    that would be annoying pretty quick. hope u figure something out or it just stops.

    Kinda guessing its just something I'll have to deal with, my YT and him are best buddies, can't part with him;)

    The nest may be a response to not having enough hiding spaces the fish is comfortable with.

    HMM, hopefully in this new tank he'll find a home then. Not really much I can do about it now. Or is there??

    ROFL as well;) wonder if they have shock training collars for fish? Can't really use the cats spray bottle on it, but ya got me thinking Don.

    Ha that's funny you say that, we have one chromis that is kind of the outcast so him and the yellow tang hang out all the time. Just sit near the bottom.
