Added some ROWAphos media to help with phosphate.

I also made a diy algae scrubber by attaching a piece of plastic canvas to the outfall on my skimmer. Not only does it get rid of the waterfall noise, it serves a filtration need.

I have some pretty good encrusting going on with my acros and I had another mushroom pop up. Good things are happening.

Got my new Hanna Checkers in today

Phosphate: 0.003 ppm. I am not sure how they are so low. Impressive!

Alkalinity: 4.02 Meq/l. Little high, but that's because I put in the equivalent od 0.5 meq/l of baking soda in the other day.

Up to 8 hours on my light cycle. In two more weeks, I'll be up to the 10 hour light cycle I planned for.

I really wish I knew what either of those two were. The didn't have names when I bought them. The one you are asking about is my favorite frag, however.

Well I suck at IDing corals when they are colonies let alone frags.

All I can guess is it's a smooth skin, possible deep water. Second might be a Tortuosa but that is just a guess.

When in doubt go to the vendor sites like Vividaquarium and look around, you might find an id there.
