    Hey Guys,

So quick question for the experts, I have a small acan colony and ever since I got it I been feeding each individual head from time to time with some mysis and other stuff, the question is, are all heads? connected?? Meaning if I feed one would the rest of the colony also get some of the benefits?

I was wondering because it started with 3 or 4 and now I am up to 11 in a 4 month period.... So i was wondering if this is normal?

Yes, the colony shares the food. And they most certainly grow faster if you feed them; normal.

are you saying that in reality, you only need to feed one of the heads?

Yes, but faster growth would be shown if more than one head is fed. When I feed my candy canes I try to feed about 1/3 to 1/2 the colony. When a colony is small I usually just feed all the heads that will take it.
