I have a cinnamon clown, that keeps trying to rub his side all over my little yellow goby. And is staying right beside it. I have never had a clown before and am not sure if this is loving or bullying. Any help would be great.

Do you have any frogspawn, hammers, or anenomes?

Sounds like typical Clown behavior. He's trying to be 'hosted' by the goby I think.

Yup I would pretty much have to agree with this. Clowns are just weird.

Beware though it could turn to aggression. My female black and white clown has been witnessed swimming around the tank with my yellow watchman goby's tail fin in her mouth.

Cinnamons are a lot like Tomato Clowns, aggression in established females is impressive and dangerous to any other livestock be it shrimp, starfish or fish.

They can be dangerous to wandering fingers near their territory as well !

Yes I do have 2 frogspawn. The clown is just staying right beside the goby. I have been watching the 2 of them all morning. Would it help if I added another clown to the tank? I know there's a possibility they would not bond but my goby is so small compared to the clown.

You would need to get a smaller, younger clown, and I would do it as soon as possible if you want to add another clown successfully.

Unless its tank raised or tiny (so at least you have a clue to its age)there could be trouble.Big trouble. Gobies have very good eyesight so I wonder if the symbiosis extends beyond shrimp?

    Probably not but interesting.;)
