king, you're not much of a "king" if you need someone to answer this for you. What would happen if a large snail or 2 small snails decided to cruise the pump intake?

    DON'T DO IT!!

never had a snail/salt tank before this week, not sure scorgo i guess.
can stuff get stuck to the side of the pump IE should i remove a snail if on the pump ??
if my cute little clown swims in the front "blade output " im going to be pissed.
1600 gph he would be sushi,
and i think hes a strong enif swimmer to do it ...

dude y cant i upload pic's anymore ? this site is starting to blow bubbles---<oOOoO

I suggest you fix this mistake to not confuse others as they read this one. Big difference b/w 1600gph & 1600GPM.

lol. Are you trying to upload photos directly from a site to here(the forum)? Try using a photo sharing site like flickr or phot bucket.

I wish I could get a pump with that much flow. But that would be running more than just circulating water from the sump(i.e. chiller, reactors, etc)

That is a lot of flow..

You should always have a strainer of some sort to protect your pump & live stock. It's it's not the site, it's you...

Is this the pump you are talking about? I have two Hydor #2's with 600GPH & that is fine in my 90gal.
