I am in the market for a couple new pumps. My old Hydors koralia 4's keep dying. I had 3 and now only one works.
I see on ebay there are a FLOOD of them that looks like exact either replicas of the old hydors or they are hydors with different brand names on them.
Has anyone bought them and how are they?
There is also some new dual style one. Its like two pumps in one housing.
    Thanks...

Looks more like a Tunez knockoff. I worry about those 4 little suction cups holding it on. One of my roomates Korlia's just violently shorted out and have been looking at a replacement. His Dogface puffer likes to wedge between the powerhead and glass to sleep and I worry it would pop off.

I have two of them of the twin type on my 70 gallon for just about a year now, they have worked well. I modified them by taking the suction cups off and glueing a magnetic base to them. then using a magnet on the outside to secure the wavemakers to the back of the tank.

How does the flow seem with those doubles? They look interesting and Im wondering if they create even more turbulence 'wave simulation' because they are blowing so close together? Or is it just like having two shooting instead of one?

Not knowing about the dual propeller powerhead...Though I was just looking at them before I settled on the Evolutions....But my opinion is..Stay away from the suction cups.
I have had that style and they were always falling off the glass....and "generally" your better off staying with a known good product..Hydor, ect.. jmo : )

Talk to Steve Wright about them. It's what he uses in his tank if it's SunSun.
