ya, pc's are really not recommended for anemone's but people make it work. Good thing you have had him for that long, definitely doing something right :)

Yeah..Nano had a good suggestion with the T5s. Reefgeek has some good deals on ATI and TEK. They are pricey, but good units, NEPs are good as well, not as high quality IMO but they do the job. I have an Nova Extreme over my nano. Also, look into UVL or Giessemann bulbs. They are top notch. The bulbs that come with the NEPs are not good.

And you may, if you have not already, check your params. Dose with Prime if needed. You are probably going to end up with a minicycle....no big deal, but the corals might feel the sting......

Well, all is still well.. Water is crystal clear, fish are happy. Going to my LFS & picking up some more hermits. I have one left. I'm looking at either a 130W T5 or a MH. It's about a $100.00 difference, but my 29 gal is going to end up as a QT tank after my 90 is finished.. Might be wise if I'm going to quarantine corals, fish, etc for a couple of weeks, before adding into my 90. Not sure if I should make the invest into the MH. What do you think??

I shutdown this tank on 5/17/2010 & upgraded to a 90gal. I kept all of the hardware except the tank that was almost 7 years old & was starting to bow in the middle.
