What is the best way to remove a clam and a anenome from the glass at the bottom of my tank to move to a new tank. When I put the clam in I didn't get a piece of rock under the clam before he attached himself.

Dont know about the clam, but with the nem you need to peel it off very gently and slowly. I moved mine from a piece of LR and it took about two hours, if you try to move it to quick you could damage it's foot. Be patient.

DO NOT PEEL OFF any Nem....
Take and gently nudge repeatedly on the side iof his foot until HE lets go...
Peeling it off can damage his foot and he may never be able to hold on to anything again...

Someone at the lfs once told me to use ice onthe bottom of the tank. Any ideas about this good or bad.

It would work but who will pick up the tank while he applies the ice....

The tank that I am taking down has an open bottom and is particle board which is why it is coming down
