Clam, Duncans & Candy Canes in negotiation...

    8) well a buddie of mine tank was havin alot of issues so he asked me for some help, he asked my if I wouldnt mind taking in his clam, duncans and candy canes as they were going down hill...the dancans were coming out at ALL, the clam was not even thinking of opening and the candy canes were just flat dying off.. i told him sure i would put them in my tank to see if i could help save them. well they have been in my tank two days and are looking alot better.. the this is how they look now after 2 days...

    well he calls me today and told me he was getting out of the hobbie and wants $75 bucks for the things he gave me.. the duncan have like 20 heads, which like 5 have not came out yet, the candy canes have like 18-20 heads which seem to be coming back and the clam is a Maxima XL something or other, its about 7-8 inchs long... i told him i would think about it..just curious what you guys think i should do here? is this stuff worth $75 or no? should i offer him less $$. what do you guys think i should do??? thanks reefers...

    If you like the corals/clam I think it's worth it. I do need to point out where I am from ALL corals/clams are much more expensive than I have read on here. I still think that's not a bd price though. I'd pay the $75 and split em with ya if you were closer, unless you wanna work a deal on shipping? lol

    Seems pretty fair to me! But ya kinda have him by the .....!lol! Whats he gonna do, come pack them up and go sell them to a LFS? He's not gonna get $75 for them that way! but that is a decent price!IMO

    Ok awesome, I'll throw him the $75. I have dealt with this guy a couple of times and rather not have my name trashed on our local forum over $75 bucks.
