    So i just noticed this tonight, but there is a clam growing on my clam. The new one is tiny but it looks like a second clam growing on the shell. really cool watching. Had to post this video to show it.

    looks like a orange sponge growing around it too.

    Looks kind of like a mushroom from the picture. But neat none the less

    It's a hard surface that opens and closes. Doesn't look like a mussel to me so. Will post more pic as it develops.
