so my clam was moved but it wasnt attached to anything. when i put it in the sand though it eventually laid down on the side rather than vertical. when I got home my girlfriend said that the emerald was picking at its foot so I set it back up vertically to keep it from getting hurt. we went out to dinner and came back and found its foot laying in the sand but the clam still sitting where I left it. ???? Will it be ok? It seems fine right now.

    Hello.

It could be OK, since it wasn't torn or ripped off. Keep him stable, minimal movement and see how it does.

Keep an eye out for any hermits trying to clean it up :)

    Good luck.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Not uncommon, it will probably be fine if all else with the parameters are fine, and the emerald is not picking at it.

Thanks for the advice. I looked at him this morning when I turned the lights on and he wasn't fully extended yet. I'm hoping its bc I just fired up the lights and its not a sign.
