Hey so I was looking into getting a clam so I sent Mike from Rapid a message and he thought it would be a good idea to order 1 (One) optic lens and place it on the LED directly above your clam. You will get much higher PAR ratings and better health out of your clam by doing this.

Man, with your lights, i really doubt you'll need that! My clams all jumped ship to lower, twice, and you're system may be stronger as far as par than mine.

And I may get killed for this, but i have 1 BIG clam, 1 decent, and a baby maxima, and my cal only drops from 480 ish, to 440 ish over a week.

I have no idea then.. At 100% when I had 24 LEDs I was pushing 519 PAR on my sand bed. But since then iv added two more LEDs and looking to add six more for a wider spectrum.

I would keep an eye on the health and if needed you can purchase optics to keep everyone happy. :)

Bio, 519 at the sand bed will require sunscreen for most clams! Get the aqua babies, its waterproof.
