I bought a clarkii about 2 months ago for my 10 gallon, within a week he killed my skunk shrimp, recently i just added him to my new 29, ive had a 6-line wrasse in there for two weeks, within minuts he started chasing the wrasse and scared him into hiding, what should i do with this fish ? get rid of him?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Usually if they are that aggressive all you can do is change around the scape some to establish new territories. If that does not work the clown will probably not accept any new fish, especially another clown.

I had the same problem with a Maroon clown and it never worked out. Every fish I added he killed within 10 mins. The aggression only gets worse as they get older and is intensified secondary to the small size of the tank.

    Good Luck

I hate my clarkii clown.. I've been trying everything to catch him and get rid of him. I am literally about to starve him for a week and "fish" him out with some krill and a hook...

    My clown fish mean list

    1. Maroons
    2. Tomato
    3. Clarkii

All clown fish have the potential for being very aggressive but those 3 top my list.

Just about anything that isn't an occelaris or percula has a pretty good chance of being mean AFAIK.

it wont do much to a mushroom, heck i could throw some kosher salt in a toilet and a mushroom would thrive in there
