Clean skimmer

    I just cleaned my skimmer with a hot water/vinegar mix for the first time.I put it back into my sump and the foam Isn't climbing the cup. Is this normal after being cleaned?

    yea its the downside to good maintanence
    it will scum up soon enought

    Takes a bit if you cleaned it well. I very seldom clean the stuff out of the cone and just dump the cup.

    I also dont clean my cone unless its terribly bad.

    Thanks for the quick answers guys, k+ to you guys. Believe the skimmer was disgustingly bad it needed cleaning.
