I have a 150 gallon with mostly triggers. I'm always fighting brown diatom blooms. I want to add a clean up crew that won't be eaten by my several hungry triggers. Before triggers, I had great success cleaning the glass with Trochus snails. I'm hesitant to get more. Are Trochus hard-core enough to survive with Triggers? I could use some suggestions for putting together a diatom (and detritus) consuming, clean up crew that can be effective and survive in this system.
    Thanks!

If you are fighting a brown Diatom then I'd look to me source water and as for a clean up crew for a trigger tank LOL yes a good set of Magnavour magnets and you a Diatom filter would not hurt either. As for snails hanging with triggers nope none I know of oh that applies to crabs and urchins and about anything I'm aware of.

A fuzzy cheaton would be good for general rock cleaning. I'd get more than one.
