Ok, Im not familiar with LED's, but would guess that they should be fine.

There are numerous species in the following groups that have some vibrant coloring and are pretty much completely reef safe:

    • Gobies
    • Jawfish
    • Dartfish
    • Basslets
    • Blennies
    • Dragonets (need a well established tank)
    • Chromis
    • Dottybacks
    • Damsels (get very aggressive when mature)
    • Cardinalfish

And is it wise to add at same time or spread out, im assuming spreading out the fish but corals i assume should be fine to add at same time

You should defnitely spread out the fish, one/ month, so that the bacteria in your tank has time to adjust to the new bioload.

As for corals, yes you can add them at the same time (saves on shipping). I would suggest adding no more than a handful at a time though because it spaces out the excitement of getting new inhabitants-which IMO is the best part of this hobby!

Your best bet is to assume roughly 3 gallons/ inch of full grown fish *as a rough estimate*. Some people say 5 gallons per inch, but I think that is a bit conservative.

So that leaves you with 30" of fish. Most of the groups I listed grow to a max of 4" so you could have roughly 7-8 of that size total. Considering that you have a clownfish and a hippo tang. I would suggest 5-6 more so that your maintenance doesn't get out of control.

Or if you find other larger reef safe fish, just adjust your calculations accordingly.

Yes, but make sure your water parameters are stable before doing so and allow for a minimum of 5-6" of space between them.

BTW what part of Jersey are you from?

    Actually, I'm in Philly.

For the tests, I recommend Salifert (expensive though) or even Red Sea. Try to avoid ATI, they are not very reliable.
