The driver is for sure dead, it already has green corrosion around some of the parts, the wireless module looks alright tho, so maybe i can just get away with buying the mp10es driver for $55 and then just put my wireless chip on it?

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Is there a way you could wire a float switch to turn the return pump off if it starts to overflow? Would give you a little safety net.

Dont let the green worry you. My phone took a swim in my tank last week, and after a rice bath for 48 hours it is still working great! (Ill never use it as a flashlight again though!!!) There is a little green on the inside of where it connects to its charging/syncing cord, but that still works perfectly. Don't write it off till ya test it!

Tested it this morning. Nothing. So guess $55 later I'll be back in business.

    Sorry for your loss,

But if the OF losses siphon, this little gem I found and have been using PREVENTS a DT overflow!
This is an excellent sensor that detects water, no float, etc. It then shuts down whatever is plugged into it.
So, you place the sensor Above the waterline, in the back, side, etc.
    Plug your RP into it.

If the sensor detects water- as in High water level, it shuts down the RP.
So in the scenario of the OF not keeping up, or failing/losing siphon- it shuts your RP before it floods your room containing your DT.

MY DT in is my Family Room, on the 1st floor- carpet, wood, basement below.
I have never had a DT overflow- I bought this for insurance ~$70
This is a great product, no moving parts, tested again and again, works like a charm.

I hope you overflow didn't cause too much other damage.

BTW, my ATO now can put no more than about 4 gallons into my ~140g total.

I do hope everthing makes it OK. Give them time, they should

Awesome! thanks for that! and the only damage was the mp10 driver. Tile floors in the living room. So just soaked it up. But still $55 down the drain for the driver. And corals looked like thye were going to make it this morning so hopefully no losses there.

I'm glad the clean up was easy! Glad your livestock seems like they'll be OK too.

Giving that driver more time may do it.

Still not sure why a submersible pump can be made, but they elect not to water proof the outside enough to withstand some water?
