Scrubbed my LR, vacuumed the sand and scrubbed the walls to try to rid my tank of Green Hair Algae. As well as dosed my tank with Phoslock and added a new Biocube carbon filter in Chamber 1. Arranged my corals and the Tank looks good!!! Just thought id post some pick of before and after the clean???
Any feedback would be appreciated as always<><><><><><><>;D

I have a Biocube 29 and I have done that kind of cleaning before. Unfortunately, until you can get rid of all of the phosphates and whatever else is feeding the algae, it will continue to come back. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

yes GreyGhost is right 0 nitrate 0 phos..how you go about this is 1st make sure your not using tap water for top off or water changes(if possible use ro/di water)..2nd dont over feed(I know mine just stair at me with that LOOK).3rd if you have any kind of filter pad/sponge/BB`s etc, make sure the are cleaned very often..also you can use a phosban reactor(will help a bit more than those pads/bags), and maybe add a small fuge with some cheato macro algae(to help in nitrate removal)..remember if you see algae and your testing 0 for nitrate/phos its in there just being used up by your algae before it can read on a test kit..I did the above a few months ago,and wow did it make a huge difference..
