Hmm, I have had my shrimp MIA for a few days. Maybe it molted and is hiding for a bit.

I had the same thing happen. One day I had 2 cleaners, the next day 1! I never saw any skin left and I am still wondering what happened. My hubby had a cleaner pass on and the cleaning crew cleaned it up real quick. It is possible for them to die in a rock and no remains left to be seen.
It is possible yours molted and has hidden, just keep an eye out for it.

Once they molt, they have to be very careful as their shell is very soft so it does not offer the shrimp the necessary protection that it normally does. Maybe something got to it while this was taking place.
I don't know if your corallimorphs were the culprit or not Bill as I have the same kind as you obtaining a radius of 3" and all three types of shrimp have been in the tank for over a year now. I have about 15 of these large shrooms...but anything is possible in a reef biotope!
    Hope you find your shrimp!
As mentioned above, once your shrimp molts, it hides for a couple days til its new shell hardens and limits its vulnerability!

Cleaner wrasses are notoriously hard to keep alive...they primarily live by eating parasites off other fish. Often they won't take to other food when this source runs out, it results in poor health, and most likely death for the Wrasse.

Am sorry for your loss. [IMG]

.....I think we are talking about cleaner shrimp...I could be mistaken though.

    :)

Omard's post brings to light that you did not mention what kind of cleaner you have/had. Fish or shrimp?
