well see, the reason why the cleaner shrimp was out and about your tank was because he was trying to find his place to set up his station.. he probably just found it and its trying it out... ( or maybe your right and he is molting)

give him sometime and once he gets comfortable with his station he will come out more. but i do have to tell you that it wont be the same as when you recently put him into the tank do to the face that he is always by his station.. that's IME..

lol that's interesting how he only likes the shell

yea i'll try :D it will be his best meal yet. I'm glad though that he doesnt tire of his bloodworms or crickets, he's a picky eater and those are the only thing he eats

ok good to know. i'm thinking that you guys are right and this is his cleaning station as he keeps coming back to it, but he has no fish to clean so i don't know why he's doing it now. I will miss seeing my Zoom bouncing off the rocks and walking upside down, at least i'll see him during feeding

My clowns when I had them where to spazzy to sit still for the cleaner... My firefish gets cleaned by them occasionally so you may run into that.

they still make those cleaning stations even if they dont have anything to clean. (thats just their "house") and yes you will see him crawl and do all sorts of things.. just not AS often. but definitively you will:cheesy:.(kinda like your firefish) he even crawled to your hand already. Mine took like a month to even try to clean anything. and now he even becomes an annoyance :pcuz when i try to move any rocks he jumps at my hand continuously and i cant do things comfortable;).
surprisingly they usually clean big fish like tangs. ( also clown fish... if he/she allows him to.. mine never did allowed him)
