Anyone ever see their cleaner shrimp have babies?
The tank was full of hundreds of tiny 1/8" shrimp last night.
Too bad I can't raise them.
They were all gone next morning. :(

Think they got skimmed out or eaten? Or both? Cool that they made it that far though.

Yep, fish love live food. I've never had it happen as I've never had a mated pair, but I've heard several similar stories.

Yeah, I should have got some macros. They were mostly clear with a yellow center.

I have a tiny shrimp baby that hitchhiked with the live rock I got. Hope he makes it. :)

It must be the time of the season. Mine are both spitting out babies, which makes a "man" head scratch :p

I caught the release one night and it was like the tank was snowing!

They live! I looked in the tank tonight and it was still swarming with baby shrimp. I guess they're smart enough to know not to come out until the night.
I was surprised and they are starting to get their cleaner shrimp red tails. They are still less than 1mm long.
