I've got a big green/yellow brittle (Ophiarachna incrassata) that will eat any fish it finds sleeping in the rocks. Even the cleaner shrimp has taken to moving to the back glass at night.
I knew when I bought it that once it became large it would go from beneficial cleaner upper to fish killer. And I knew better when I noticed it moving into the area my 4 year old Royal Gramma always slept. The night the fish disappeared I saw the star completely "tenting" the entire inside of the fishes sleeping area.
Since then I've lost a YTD, a couple chromis, a PJ Cardinal.
I really should get it out of the tank but customers like seeing it's arms protruding from the rocks so I leave it.

That sucks. They do look pretty cool though. These 3 are going to the LFS ASAP. I woke up today and couldn't find one of my dartfish. I got so stressed out I couldn't believe it had happened again!! Then I found him stuck behind my in tank refugium, still breathing. I moved it over and he's swimming happily again!!
