Cleaner shrimp ?

    Can skunk cleaner shrimp and pepermint shrimp be kept togeather ? Thanks for the help .

    I kept them together in my 55. 3 peppermint and 1 skunk. It's the rest of the fish that you have to worry about.

    i keep them together in my 125 but i only have one pep to keep aiptasia in check when i first put the tank together i have three skunks and two fire

    In my 90 with all the rock then they should be ok . I think I will give them a try togeather .

    I had 3 peppermints and a cleaner in my 40 without problems.

    I have two peppermint shrimp and one cleaner shrimp. They get along fine.

    Its the same as with fish. As long as you give them enough space to each have their own territory they will be fine. However, overstock and they will kill each other. Get more skunks than peppermints. They actually serve a purpose, they are more colorful, and you will see them way more. I've had skunks, bloods, and peppermints and you see skunks the most, then blood shrimp, then peppermints. You may want to look into the blood/fire shrimp too. Adds a great blast of color.

    Also keep in mind that adult shrimp have a relatively large territory. You can probably only keep 4-6 shrimp in that tank.

    I have 2 skunks that stay on there side in the day and I think 3 pepps that stay on the other end. They roam around at night. I had 5 pepps and not sure if they're all still there. They don't seem to ever bother each other.
