my cleaner shrimp eats anything i drop in the tank. literally...

flake food, pellets, frozen krill, frozen mysis, etc.

i too had my first cleaner shrimp before i had any fish in my tank. when it was just him id drop a pellet in every couple days. he'd tear it up and eat it in within a few minutes. whatever he didnt eat the clean up crew took care of.

i think that would be a little to much... he might eat but its a lot for just a cleaner shrimp.

    they will eat anything really..
    mysis, krill, flakes, pellets..

Since I have an overflow and too lazy to turn off my pumps for feeding I stick my hand in the tank with a pinch of pellets to sprinkle out for the fish, while I do this my cleaner jumps on my hand and snags pellets out from between my fingers. It has turned into a routine so he is always fat and happy. He will also get a piece of silverside when I feed my anemone.
