Just got a used 90 gallon reef ready tank and stand. The tank is pretty dirty. What's the best way to get all that crud to break loose. I'm filling it with water now for a leak test. Add a couple gallons of vinegar ? Any ideas ? Thanks.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Vinegar or bleach works well for me. If it's glass then a razor blade to get the stubborn stuff.

It's glass. I was going to use a razor blade just wanted to loosen it up some first. I'll grab a few gallons of vinegar. Should I turn on a power head on ?

No power heads needed, I do however soak my power heads in a diluted vinegar solution to clean them up.

The tank came with a return pump but don't know much about it. It's pretty dirty also. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434231799.252520.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434231817.576348.jpg

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434231861.848191.jpg just saw this cord. Don't think I'll be using this pump.

oh, I would suggest you order two pumps :) one as a back-up if you find it on sale. Our friend swears by quiet one pumps - they are on sale now at pet solutions for a very reasonable price.
